1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how TRUDEAU TECH SOLUTIONS, LLC (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you visit or interact with our website at trudeau.tech (the “Site”) and our client services at network.trudeau.tech, including the support request form and the client portal (together with the Site, the “Services”).
By using the Services, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information You Provide Through the Support Form
When you submit a support request, we collect the information you voluntarily provide, including:
- Name
- Email address
- Company (optional)
- Phone number (optional)
- Subject and description of your issue, request, or inquiry
- Department and category (optional)
- Email addresses of additional contacts you add, who will receive emails about your request
- Pictures or other details you choose to include
If your email address does not match an existing contact, we create a contact record for you so we can respond to and track your request.
2.2 Information in the Client Portal
When you sign in to the client portal, we use your email address to send you a one-time sign-in code. Through the portal we hold and show:
- Support tickets you are on, and the replies on them
- Invoices, quotes, and payment history
- The contact details we have on file for you
2.3 Information From Providing Our Services
When we provide services to you, we may keep records such as service notes and photos, project and billing records, and, for devices we manage, device information collected through our device management tool (for example device name, hardware details, IP address, and update and restart status).
2.4 Communications
Emails, text messages, and voicemails you send us, including to our Google Voice number, may be added to our support system as tickets or ticket updates.
2.5 Automatically Collected Information
The Services are hosted and delivered through Cloudflare. Cloudflare automatically processes technical data such as:
- IP address
- Browser and device information
- System and network information
- Request URLs, timestamps, and headers
This is used for security, performance, DDoS protection, and aggregated traffic analytics.
No advertising or tracking cookies are used.
Data processed by Cloudflare is handled under Cloudflare’s privacy and data-processing policies.
3. Cookies & Tracking
The Site itself does not set cookies and does not use analytics or advertising trackers. Its fonts and other files are served from our own site.
The Site shows our support form in a pop-out window that loads from network.trudeau.tech. The support form and the client portal use only cookies that are strictly necessary for them to work:
- A security cookie that protects the form from forged submissions
- A sign-in cookie that keeps you signed in to the client portal after you enter your code
The support form and portal sign-in use Cloudflare Turnstile to block automated spam. Turnstile processes information about your browser and device under Cloudflare’s privacy terms. Cloudflare may also set temporary security cookies required for protection and performance.
4. How We Use Your Information
Information you submit, and information we hold to provide our services, may be used for:
- Responding to inquiries
- Creating and tracking support tickets
- Providing quotes or service information
- Scheduling service
- Troubleshooting issues
- Following up on support or technical requests
- Signing you in to the client portal
- Sending invoices, quotes, payment receipts, and payment reminders, and processing payments
- Managing and maintaining devices we support, for clients who use that service
- Occasionally sending gifts to clients and contacts
- Maintaining communication for ongoing or future work
- Sending offers or service-related announcements unless you opt out
You may opt out of future offer emails at any time by replying with “unsubscribe” or using any opt-out instructions included in the message.
We do not use email addresses for unrelated marketing or share them with external marketing services.
Automatically collected data is used only for hosting, security, and site reliability.
5. Legal Basis
Information you submit, and information we hold to provide our services, is processed under:
- Legitimate interest: responding to inquiries, providing and supporting our services, and keeping service records
- Contract: providing the services, invoices, and payments you have agreed to
- Consent: your voluntary act of submitting a request or sending us an email, text, or voicemail
- Soft opt-in: sending service-related offers to prior inquirers unless they opt out
6. Data Sharing
6.1 Service Providers
We use the following providers to run the Services. Each processes information under its own privacy terms, and only as needed to provide its service to us:
- Cloudflare: hosting, content delivery, security (including Turnstile), and the secure connection to our support system
- Google: email, and Google Voice calls, texts, and voicemail
- PayPal and Stripe: online payments. Payment details you enter on our pay page go directly to them; we do not receive or store your full card number.
- Goody: sending gifts. We share the recipient’s first name and email address.
- Action1: device management and updates, for clients whose devices we manage
6.2 No Sale of Personal Data
We do not sell or rent personal information. Information may be shared only when:
- Required by law
- Necessary to deliver email, text messages, or calls
- Processed by the providers listed in 6.1 for the purposes described there
- You add additional contacts to a support request, who then receive emails about it
- Needed for security or abuse prevention
- Part of a business transfer (section 11)
7. Data Retention
Support requests, tickets, attached pictures, and correspondence may be retained for:
- Service records
- Communication history
- Future support reference
- Legal, tax, or accounting requirements
Invoices and payment records are kept for as long as tax and accounting rules require.
We do not store website visitor data beyond what Cloudflare logs.
8. Security
We rely on Cloudflare’s protections (TLS encryption, DDoS protection, Web Application Firewall) for secure delivery of the Services.
Our support system runs on servers we operate and is reached only through an encrypted Cloudflare connection. Client portal sign-in uses one-time codes sent to your email address. Uploaded pictures are checked and re-encoded before they are stored.
Emails are stored securely within our email system.
9. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may request:
- A copy of the information we hold about you, including support requests and correspondence
- Correction of your contact details
- Deletion of your information, except records we must keep for legal, tax, or accounting reasons
- Opt-out from offer communications
Requests can be submitted to the contact address below.
10. External Links
The Services and our emails may contain links to third-party services, including our payment providers; we are not responsible for their privacy practices.
11. Business Transfers
If the company undergoes a merger or acquisition, customer information may be transferred as part of the transaction.
12. Children’s Privacy
The Services are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly engage in communication with minors.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy if our Services, hosting configuration, or data-handling practices change. Updates to this policy may be posted on this page without notice; the date at the top shows when it last changed.
